Pure Sea Salts started with a simple question: why does everything in the spice aisle taste the same? The answer, we learned, is that almost all of it is the same — industrially refined, stripped of minerals, and cut with anti-caking agents. So we went looking for salt the way it used to be. We found it on the Baja coast, in salt flats worked by hand under the Pacific sun. We taste the difference. We think you will too.

Why Hand-Harvested Matters
Hand-harvesting is slower, and that is the point. Raking crystals by hand keeps their structure intact and keeps the work with the families who have done it for generations. The flats run on sun and wind — no kilns, no chemical washing, no bleaching — so the salt leaves the coast the way the sea made it.
